Jay Fischer, Fischer Global Solutions

Jay Fischer
Managing Director

Jay founded Fischer Financial Solutions in 2001 for accounting and finance professionals and later expanded the Fischer family of companies under Fischer Global Solutions to encompass information technology professionals and administrative-support staff. A certified public accountant (CPA), Jay began his career with Ernst & Ernst in New York. He has served as controller, chief financial officer and chief operating officer for venture-capital-backed startups as well as Fortune 500 companies. He served on the boards of directors of The Seven Hills School in Walnut Creek, California for six years, and the Athenian School in Danville, California for five years.

During his 35-year career, Jay has prided himself on staffing and recruiting top-notch accounting, finance, information technology, sales and administrative staff. Jay builds teams by promoting loyalty and creating an atmosphere that rewards professional development.

Western Region Managing Director

As the Western Region Managing Director, Jim connects clients with candidates through his proven management and customer service skills. He has worked for recruiting firms in the San Francisco Bay Area, Denver and New York and has consistently exceeded client, candidate and company expectations. Jim meets the needs of each client and candidate with sincerity, accuracy and complete professionalism, which is all a part of his “true” consultative approach.

Sterling Moore
Regional Director

Sterling Moore is a natural-born selling professional with a passion for supporting businesses and individuals in defining and achieving greater success. As Regional Director of Fischer Global Solutions, he specializes in thoroughly examining client leadership needs and proficiently identifying qualified candidates. Mr. Moore believes setting expectations properly is the key to success. Through his networking skills and ability to influence, he is able to gain a deep understanding of these expectations, enabling him to steer the right candidates to the right managers.

In addition to his work in recruiting, Mr. Moore has nearly twenty years of experience in the financial services industry. As a Divisional Sales Director and Regional Vice President at Invesco/Van Kampen, he was responsible for sales of over $6 Billion from 2000 to 2012. He holds Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 security registrations and is a Certified Fund Specialist.

Mr. Moore earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University.

Customer-service oriented, Ellen has managed administrative-support staff in both large and small companies. Prior to joining Fischer Global Solutions, she held a senior sales and marketing position with a company dedicated to supporting human resource professionals. She prides herself on a team-building philosophy. Ellen attended Syracuse University and began her career with Marriott International, Inc.
